As part of our work life effectiveness campaign at work, we’ve decided to create a club for active people or sports minded people like me. Different types like swimming club, Basketball Club, Soccer Club and even Board Games club were established to promote of course sports awareness and camaraderie among their work mates. These kinds of clubs are really helpful, since most of the employees are feeling burned out from repetitive task that they do at work. The goal of these clubs to promote work life balance, we believe that when we do this, employees will be more motivated and happier with their jobs.

After establishing these clubs, we also coordinated with other departments if they would like to have a mini sports fest. Sportsmanship and camaraderie too are just two of our objectives for these. At least employees will not think about their tiring work, deadlines, payday loans and other things, and just focus on their chosen sports. These sports clubs also provides tutorials and lessons for beginners! I even tried to join the baseball club even though I don’t know how to play it. I’m more of a swimmer that’s why maybe, but trying out some cool stuff is not bad at all.

I was playing golf with my dad one fine Sunday when my golf ball accidentally hit the water tank in the area. I thought the tank will spill its water but to my surprised it didn’t. I asked the caddy what kind of product it was but he was not sure whether it’s a Sydney water tank or perhaps some Melbourne water tanks which I broke but he was sure that it was a good product because of its durability. It looks like he is knowledgeable about water tanks so I asked him if he knows anything about water tank prices. I said I was planning to buy one for our new home. He said he had no idea about the prices but he suggested that I buy either of the two tanks. Upon seeing my nieces and nephews inside the playpen playing wrestling, I just thought that in the near future that they’re going to be very good athletes someday. Being a retired Olympian, I wanted someone from my family be like a Roman Greco Wrestler like me or maybe a swimmer like my grandfather. I’ve got a lot of medals from different tournaments and I wanted them to surpass my achievement as an athlete. From childrens playpen to the real court of sports, that’s my dream for them. I know it will take a lot of time, and training, but seeing those playing on that playpen with all smiles and all might to win, I can see future on them. But first, they have to study and finish their schools.

Getting into sports is very nice since it will teach our kids the most important thing in life which is discipline. With discipline on them I am sure that they won’t go wrong. Because there are some kids there that gets addicted to drugs because they don’t have the support from their family in engaging them to some activities like sports. Good thing that the government now is paying attention to it. By that, we’re also looking for our future Olympic Gold Medalists.

I recently started doing sparring trianing. Actually it is a part of any boxer’s routine whether he or she is just a beginner or expert. You need to have focus in this kind of activity so you can develop a good technique and power.
